- Thank you for praying for all aspects of our Christmas Drama Production: In the Air Tonight,. All four performances went considerably well, with a good attendance at each one. Please pray for those who were invited, guests who are perhaps less familiar with the true message of Christ at Christmas, and for the work of the Holy Spirit in each life. Pray also for the big effort to take down and put everything away this week!!
- Brian Cline's mother, Brenda Cline, is having knee surgery tomorrow (Friday Dec.12) as they had a cancellation and she's able to have it now. Please pray for encouragement and strength and for her...drawing her back to the Lord.
- Kimberley Stuart requests prayer for her son Isaac who had a workplace accident, serious concussion, and a compound thumb fracture. He had surgery on his thumb last week. Pray for God's grace in the recovery, and for Kimberley, brothers Gabriel and Lucas, and grandparents Jim & Elsje Stuart in their concern for Isaac.
- Dorothy & Ron Perreault request prayers for their daughter, Michelle Taylor (55), who suffered a stroke, and was treated at Hamilton General Hospital. She is now waiting for a bed in Shaver but will stay in Niagara hospital till then. She had problems with her right hand but that is coming along. She has some problems with speech but getting better there as well. She walks with no problem, laughs and makes us laugh. Please pray for her full recovery.
- Pray for Lawrence McGinn recovering from knee replacement surgery.
- Ron Mater is recovering well from his hip replacement surgery, grateful for our prayers!
- Norm Hill is facing the end of a contract with his job, and needs a new contract/job by the end of this month to support his family. Please pray for Norm & Desiree in this time of searching and trusting God's provision.
- Pray for preparation of our Advent Services including our Christmas Eve service.
- Mission Eurasia (like many ministries) are grateful that the postal strike is over, and funds are flowing again! They saw a significant increase in donations in November. However, we still face some pressing needs. They have already sent 2 million food servings into the war-torn country, and are currently sending a container of food and supplies to Ukraine, including a million more food servings (we helped send one this past Fall). Pray that God will supply and help these supplies get to the hands of those in need.
- Pray for the Christian Motel Ministry team, led by Lawrence McGinn, who have been faced with the decision to end the ministry by the end of this month due to significant rise in cost of the ministry space, and a changing demographic in the motel. Please pray for guidance in bringing this ministry to a conclusion.
- Please continue praying for overall church ministry, for ministry leaders, life group leaders, discipleship triads, children and youth ministry teams, outreaches, and of course, our regular Sunday morning ministries in worship services and Sunday School..., for our responsiveness to God's Word both personally and in group studies. Pray that we will be steadfast in standing on the truth, and be life-giving in our witness to those who need Jesus!
- Please pray for God's wisdom, strength, and joy for each of:
- Our Elders: Jim Stuart, Phil Osborne, Jeff Korody, Don Stauffer, Norm Hill, along with Pastor Martin and Pastor Bruce.
- Our Directors: Lawrence McGinn, Trevor Hartwick, along with Elders Jim, Phil, Jeff, Norm, and Don...and the preparation of our 2026 Budget. The Board meets this evening (Tuesday Dec.9).
- Our Deacons: Mark Ridgway, Ian LeSurf, Hilary Daley, Irene Osborne, Anthony Maracle, Mark Daley, Patty LeSurf, Elaine Korody, and Mellanie Romita.
- Pray for God's peace for Lorna Johansen (Chapel Heights), Ron Myers (Lundy Manor), Vi Warden (Cavendish), Elaine Short (Oakwood Park Lodge), Alex Kaye (Chapel Heights), Tom Goode (Linhaven/Henley House), Vera Harnden (Simcoe), Esther Rosa (Meadows), Betty Enns (Meadows of Dorchester), Bethene Fretz (Maple Park Lodge), Doreen Menard (Elgin Falls), Mary Franco (Queenston Place), Marj Kershaw (now at Valley Park Lodge), and Bill Howie (Bella), and Della Height (Oakwood) in their care at Senior Homes, and for others like Ellen Kerr and Sandy Cooper who are mostly homebound.
- Pray for our regular ministries at Cavendish Manor, Oakwood Lodge, Niagara Long-Term Care (NOTL), Bella Retirement Home, River Road Retirement Home, Willoughby Manor and now Elgin Falls. Pray for God's strength and wisdom as we bring encouragement through song and studies from God's Word to these senior residents.

Thanks for praying! Please include these in your personal, small group, and ministry team prayer times. Also, there is a weekly women's prayer time at the church, Mondays at 1:00 PM...all women are welcome. And, you are welcome to join our pre-service prayer time each Sunday morning at 9:20 AM in the Family Room, praying specifically for God's work among us and in the lives of those not yet saved.
