- Bob Brown suffered a stroke on the weekend, affecting his speech. He is at GNGH for treatment, along with dialysis 3 times weekly in St. Catharines Hospital. Pray that the cause of the stroke would be quickly found and the remedial treatment administered. And pray for Bev as she waits for word and cares for Bob.
- Alex Kaye passed away on Saturday in ICU at GNGH, prepared for his "royal exit!" He was ready to be with the Lord. Pray for Carrie, Tom & Val, and Andy and their families in this time of loss and remembrance, for God's comfort and peace, and for preparations for a celebration of Alex's life on October 17th.
- Margaret Young's husband John had surgery bowel cancer, and it went very well. Please pray for his recovery and ongoing treatments, and that God's grace would surround Margaret and John in this process.
- Jason Watchorn requests prayer for his family, as his Uncle Ken just passed away last week from a heart attack. Pray for comfort and help as the family grieves.
- Please pray for our present search for a Youth Pastor as the job posting is seen and responded to. Pray for the search committee, and that we will have wisdom in responding to applicants. Our desire would be to fill this position as soon as possible. Meanwhile, please pray for Melanie Goode who is now assisting our pastors and youth ministry team as our Interim Youth Ministry Coordinator.
- Ruth Reid (former Grace missionary with her late husband Bob, now living in Prince George BC), is in hospital being treated for heart failure, and trusting God's grace to help her recover, or prepare (with the family) to be with the Lord, whatever He has in store.
- Gene Fisher was in hospital for 6 months, and finally was able to return home. Please pray for her in the ongoing adjustments and continued recover.
- Pray for Marjorie Sherrett's son, Rick, who is in hospital for numbers of health difficulties, currently a constant nausea, colitis, and a recent leg amputation; pray that Rick would seek grace and help from the Lord.
- Please pray for overall church ministry as we begin this Fall, for ministry leaders, life group leaders, discipleship triads, children and youth ministry teams, outreaches, and of course, our regular Sunday morning ministries in worship services and Sunday School..., for our responsiveness to God's Word both personally and in group studies. Pray that we will be steadfast in standing on the truth and be life-giving in our witness to those who need Jesus!
- Please pray for God's wisdom, strength, and joy for each of:
- Our Elders: Jim Stuart, Phil Osborne, Jeff Korody, Norm Hill, Trevor Hartwick, and Pat Bartley, along with Pastor Martin and Pastor Bruce.
- Our Directors: Lawrence McGinn, and John-Rock Bilodeau, along with Elders Jim, Phil, Jeff, Norm, Trevor and Pat (Pastors non-voting)
- Our Deacons: Mark Ridgway, Ian LeSurf, Hilary Daley, Irene Osborne, Anthony Maracle, Mark Daley, Patty LeSurf, Elaine Korody, and Mellanie Romita.
- Pray for God's peace for Ron Myers (Lundy Manor), Elaine Short (Oakwood Park Lodge), Tom Goode (Linhaven/Regatta House), Vera Harnden (Pleasant Manor), Ruth Birch (Pleasant Manor), Esther Rosa (Meadows), Betty Enns (Meadows of Dorchester), Bethene Fretz (Maple Park Lodge), Doreen Menard (Elgin Falls), Mary Franco (Queenston Place), Bill Howie (Bella), and Della Height (Oakwood) in their care at Senior Homes, and for others like Ellen Kerr, Gene Fisher and Sandy Cooper who are mostly homebound.
- Pray for our regular ministries at Cavendish Manor, Oakwood Lodge, Niagara Long-Term Care (NOTL), Bella Retirement Home, River Road Retirement Home, Willoughby Manor and Elgin Falls. Pray for God's strength and wisdom as we bring encouragement through song and studies from God's Word to these senior residents.

Thanks for praying! Please include these in your personal, small group, and ministry team prayer times. Also, there is a weekly women's prayer time at the church, on Mondays at 1:00 PM...all women are welcome. And, you are welcome to join our pre-service prayer time each Sunday morning at 9:20 AM in the Family Room, praying specifically for God's work among us and in the lives of those not yet saved.
