THANKS FOR PRAYING FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY:
To submit a request for prayer, an update, or praise, send an email to mgoode@graceniagara.ca
- Praise the Lord for His works! Our KINGDOM CHRONICLES VBS was a huge blessing to over 100 children, and we were deeply blessed through the many volunteers who served last week. Let's continue to pray that the truths of God's Word will minister to each of the children; and that God will give rest and deep joy to each one who served.
- Please pray for our present search for a Director of Youth Ministries as the job posting is seen and responded to. Pray for the search committee, and that we will have wisdom in responding to applicants. Our desire would be to fill this position with the right godly young man by the Fall.
- This past weekend, a former AGC pastor Marty Johnson was killed suddenly in a car accident. Marty was on his way in a church van to speak at a Bible camp this coming week when the accident occurred. Marty pastored for many years in the west in Dauphin MB. and Mossbank SK. Marty leaves behind his wife Tina, and two sons Ayden and Isaac. The oldest just graduated from high school in June and the other is still in high school. Marty has been pastoring in Norquay SK. the last three years. Please pray for Tina and her sons, their church in Norquay, and the Bible camp he was going to speak at this week.
- Please pray for Melanie Ridgway's family, in the passing of her mother, Lil, this afternoon (Friday). Having suffered two brain bleeds, she was not able to recover. This is a difficult and sudden loss for the family. Pray for her husband, children and grandchildren who must face this loss, while celebrating the assurance of her trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who welcomed her to her promised reward.
- Please pray for Catherine Ball as she continues to recover from surgery to remove her tonsils.
- Please pray for Nancy Watchorn as she just had surgery on her knee this past Monday. She's been off work since May and hoping for a quick recovery so she can get back to work as soon as possible.
- Pray for Tom Webster's healing of a brain bleed, the result of falling off a ladder this past March.
- Willi Pow's surgery went well and she is resting comfortably at home with almost no pain. To God be the glory! Continued prayers for complete and fast healing and full recovery will be most appreciated.
- Please pray for Desiree Hill who has Lupus and it has been giving her a lot of grief, sometimes keeping her in bed for 2 to 3 days with flares and fatigue. Her specialist requested that she start doing infusions treatments once a month. Desiree is asking for wisdom regarding her decision to do these treatments.
- Thank you for praying for Simi Makwal; she has found an apartment within a short walking distance from her work, and is grateful for God's provision.
- Please continue to pray for Tony Tucci who is at home, recovering from valve replacement surgery and a pacemaker.
- Margaret Young's husband John is facing treatments for bowel cancer. Please pray for wisdom of the team deciding on treatment, and that God's grace would surround Margaret and John in this process.
- Pray for persecuted believers largely in the Middle East, as well as in Russia/Ukraine, and especially in Nigeria where radical Muslims are killing Christians. Pray for families experiencing grief, and for the power of the gospel to change lives of these filled with murderous hate.
- Carl Sherrett was able to come to the service Sunday; please pray for his ongoing treatments and care at home.
- Pray for our Grace Youth ministry as our leadership team guides youth nights on Thursday evenings.
- Please continue praying for overall church ministry, for ministry leaders, life group leaders, discipleship triads, children and youth ministry teams, outreaches, and of course, our regular Sunday morning ministries in worship services and Sunday School..., for our responsiveness to God's Word both personally and in group studies. Pray that we will be steadfast in standing on the truth and be life-giving in our witness to those who need Jesus!
- Please pray for God's wisdom, strength, and joy for each of:
- Our Elders: Jim Stuart, Phil Osborne, Jeff Korody, Norm Hill, Trevor Hartwick, and Pat Bartley, along with Pastor Martin and Pastor Bruce.
- Our Directors: Lawrence McGinn, and John-Rock Bilodeau, along with Elders Jim, Phil, Jeff, Norm, Trevor and Pat (Pastors non-voting)
- Our Deacons: Mark Ridgway, Ian LeSurf, Hilary Daley, Irene Osborne, Anthony Maracle, Mark Daley, Patty LeSurf, Elaine Korody, and Mellanie Romita.

- Pray for our regular ministries at Cavendish Manor, Oakwood Lodge, Niagara Long-Term Care (NOTL), Bella Retirement Home, River Road Retirement Home, Willoughby Manor and Elgin Falls. Pray for God's strength and wisdom as we bring encouragement through song and studies from God's Word to these senior residents.

And, you are welcome to join our pre-service prayer time each Sunday morning at 9:20 AM in the Family Room, praying specifically for God's work among us and in the lives of those not yet saved.
