  • Jenny Brouwer, former member, has been living with her daughter in Ridgeway, is in her final days in palliative care due to a number of health factors in addition to COPD. Please pray for the extended Brouwer family in this time of vigil.

  • Kathie Mater's niece, Janna is now home from the hospital and doing better, although there is more recovery to go with swallowing. Thank you for praying!

  • Susan Brandt and Sarah Jackson & family would appreciate prayer for them as they have a memorial service for husband/father Jim Brandt on Saturday, 11AM at the church.  (details)

  • Pray for Bill Fietje (former AGC President) and his family in the passing of his wife Lois who had pancreatic cancer, diagnosed just before Christmas.  Please pray the comfort they need as they adjust to her loss and prepare to celebrate her life in Cambridge  (postponed from Sunday due to weather) now this Saturday.   • Kathy McGarvey received great news that her friend Rebecca Pritchard and husband Andrew moved into their new assisted living apartment February 18th!  Praise God for this placement and for all the answered prayers and miracles God has given them along the way!  Kathy is greatful for all the prayers.

  • ALPHA...pray for this series of presentations and discussion times as we explore the truth of Christianity with seekers and newer believers each Tuesday evening.

  • GALENTINES event on Wednesday evening was well attended and enjoyed. Thanks for praying, trusting that the message of God's love reached the hearts of those who needed to hear it!

  • Daniel & Caroline Simon, our new missionaries in Labrea, Amazon: are still sending teams to install internet in communities--a government project they are being paid to do but that provides opportunities for spiritual ministry and follow up because of it.  Pray for Caroline who became sick with malaria two days ago and is being treated.  Also, Daniel's ultrasound revealed growth in a couple of lymph nodes, so a biopsy will soon be scheduled to determine further treatment.  Meanwhile, on March 14-16 they are leading a team from their church in Labrea to run a spiritual retreat for a daughter-church a full-day boat ride away, with 40 people who will be participating in a time of spiritual challenge and growth.

  • Power Connection, Underground Junior High and Senior High evenings...these are key times of encouragement, teaching, and modeling the Christian life to our children and teens. Pray for Pastor Bruce and Pastor Terry, and for each of the adult and youth volunteers who make these evenings special and engaging, encountering Biblical truth in age-relevant ways.

  • Pastor Bruce is preparing for an aortic valve replacement on March 14th...a significant surgery and time needed for recovery.  Please pray for Bruce and the family as they prepare for this.

  • Tony Schaapman, our BCM/Poland Missionary, shared a request for prayer with us for God's direction in establishing an outreaching church in their region of Olsztyn.  With few believers and little outreach, the majority (especially youth) are agnostic/atheist and have never heard of the Saviour.

  • The Desjardins/Nicholls families request prayer for Alyssa Desjardins (21) who is on dialysis, preparing to receive a kidney from her father, Denis Desjardins (date t.b.d.); and also for Denis' mother-in-law, Karen Nero, who has a cancerous brain tumor and is receiving chemo to shrink it. This family needs prayer for God's mercy in these matters, and that they may turn to our Saviour Jesus.

  • Gregory Freeman is a new attender, and requests prayer for his finances, for a job (he is a welder).

  • Livingstone Ssali and his wife Florence are requesting for prayers for  a Welcome Decision from the Immigration Refugee Board (IRB) of Canada for  Permanent Residence; to enable Livingstone proceed with the necessary process of reuniting with his family, for the Glory of God.

  • Please pray for Peter Kinyanjui who has been unable to find work here, and  is  now in Calgary, settling and looking for a job, but possibly needing to return to Kenya soon.

  • Please pray for God's wisdom, strength and joy for each of:
    • Our Elders: Jim Stuart, Phil Osborne, Jeff Korody, Don Stauffer, along with Pastor Martin, Pastor Bruce, and Pastor Terry. 
    • Our Directors: Lawrence McGinn, Trevor Hartwick, along with Jim, Phil, Jeff and Don.
    • Our Deacons: Mark Ridgway, Ian LeSurf, Hilary Daley, Irene Osborne, Anthony Maracle, Mark Daley.

  • Pray for God's peace for Elaine Short (Oakwood Park Lodge), Jean Johnston (Bella), Alex Kaye (Chapel Heights), Tom Goode (Linhaven/Henley House), Vera Harnden (Simcoe), Esther Rosa (Meadows), Betty Enns (Tabor Manor), Bethene Fretz (Maple Park Lodge), George & Doreen Menard (Elgin), Mary Franco (Queenston Place), Marj Kershaw (Queenston Place), and Bill Howie (Bella) in their care at Senior Homes, and for others who are mostly homebound.

  • Please continue praying for overall church ministry, for ministry leaders, life group leaders, discipleship triads, children and youth ministry teams, outreaches and of course, our regular Sunday morning ministries in worship services and Sunday School..., for our responsiveness to God's Word both personally and in groups studies. Pray that we will be steadfast in standing on the truth, and be life-giving in our witness to those who need Jesus!

  • Cover our regular ministries at Cavendish Manor, Oakwood Lodge, Niagara Long-Term Care (NOTL), Bella Retirement Home, River Road Retirement Home, Willoughby Manor and Valley Park Lodge with prayer!  Pray for God's strength and wisdom as we bring encouragement through song and studies from God's Word to seniors.  Pray also for the Motel Ministries at Continental Inn several times each week.

Thanks for praying!  Please include these in your personal, small group, and ministry team prayer times. Also, there is a weekly women's prayer time at the church, Mondays at 1:00 PM...all women are welcome.
