- Livingstone Ssali's PR hearing is on Friday, and he requests prayer that this will go well...for his sake and his family.
- Thank you for praying for Wanda Perrier's grandson, Devin, who was in the hospital with a collapsed lung. He has been treated and is back home to rest and recover.
- Ray Finch has been unwell, experiencing considerable pain in his left leg, and receiving care at home for the past 2 months. Please pray for Ray and Ruth, and their daughters in this season of care and needed recovery.
- Desiree Hill requests prayer for their family as Norm is still in Jamaica, with setbacks in paperwork as he awaits permission to return home. Please pray for swift resolution to this matter so he can return home and to work.
- Susan Gerbes requests prayer for her mom, Ursula, while she is going through a bout of pneumonia. Pray for God's grace as it is difficult to cope with.
- Pray for Carrie Kaye and her family as they prepare for Alex's celebration of life service on Saturday, October 17th. (details here) Thank you for praying for Tom and his family; gratefully the hurricane did not cause damage to their home or delay in their travels.
- Pray for preparations for our Grace Youth retreat this weekend, Oct. 16-18, going to the YFC Change Conference at Church on the Queensway; pray for the many details in coordinating the trip, and for God's deep work in the hearts of our students and all those attending.
- Pray for Galo Romero's grandfather (Gallo Romero Sr.), who is undergoing cancer treatment. Prayer for healing and post-treatment recovery.
- Marilyn Fenton requests prayer for her husband Joe, who is in long-term care at Pleasant Manor in Virgil. He is still having difficulty adjusting to his new "home" and really misses his home with Marilyn.
- Please pray for our present search for a Youth Pastor as the job posting is seen and responded to. Pray for the search committee, and that we will have wisdom in responding to applicants. Our desire would be to fill this position as soon as possible. Meanwhile, please pray for Melanie Goode who is now assisting our pastors and youth ministry team as our Interim Youth Ministry Coordinator.
- Gratefully our new church sign is a step closer to being realized...as the variance application was approved! Now the sign permit has been re-submitted with the variance approval, and Lord willing within a week we will have the full approval to proceed. Please pray for this process to be completed soon. Thank you!
- Please pray for overall church ministry as we begin this Fall, for ministry leaders, life group leaders, discipleship triads, children and youth ministry teams, outreaches, and of course, our regular Sunday morning ministries in worship services and Sunday School..., for our responsiveness to God's Word both personally and in group studies. Pray that we will be steadfast in standing on the truth and be life-giving in our witness to those who need Jesus!
- Pray for the Niagara Region as local churches prepare collectively for the Celebration of Hope with Will Graham, with gatherings for prayer, training, volunteers, children and youth outreach, and the Outreach Events on April 30 and May 1, 2027! Pray that God will prepare us as His people, and for a harvest of those whom He is drawing by His Spirit and through our prayerful outreach.
- Please pray for God's wisdom, strength, and joy for each of:
- Our Elders: Jim Stuart, Phil Osborne, Jeff Korody, Norm Hill, Trevor Hartwick, and Pat Bartley, along with Pastor Martin and Pastor Bruce.
- Our Directors: Lawrence McGinn and John-Rock Bilodeau, along with Elders Jim, Phil, Jeff, Norm, Trevor, and Pat (Pastors non-voting)
- Our Deacons: Mark Ridgway, Ian LeSurf, Hilary Daley, Irene Osborne, Anthony Maracle, Mark Daley, Patty LeSurf, Elaine Korody, and Mellanie Romita.
- Pray for God's peace for Ron Myers (Lundy Manor), Elaine Short (Oakwood Park Lodge), Tom Goode (Linhaven/Regatta House), Vera Harnden (Pleasant Manor), Ruth Birch (Pleasant Manor), Esther Rosa (Meadows), Betty Enns (Meadows of Dorchester), Bethene Fretz (Maple Park Lodge), Doreen Menard (Elgin Falls), Mary Franco (Queenston Place), Bill Howie (Bella), and Della Height (Oakwood) in their care at Senior Homes, and for others like Ellen Kerr, Gene Fisher and Sandy Cooper who are mostly homebound.
- Pray for our regular ministries at Cavendish Manor, Oakwood Lodge, Niagara Long-Term Care (NOTL), Bella Retirement Home, River Road Retirement Home, Willoughby Manor, and Elgin Falls. Pray for God's strength and wisdom as we bring encouragement through song and studies from God's Word to these senior residents.

Thanks for praying! Please include these in your personal, small group, and ministry team prayer times. Also, there is a weekly women's prayer time at the church on Mondays at 1:00 PM...all women are welcome. And you are welcome to join our pre-service prayer time each Sunday morning at 9:20 AM in the Family Room, praying specifically for God's work among us and in the lives of those not yet saved.
